I started having brown blood spotting two weeks before my period was supposed to start. I am currently taking my birth control pills and have not missed any pills. The spotty bleeding has continued for 9 days now. Now when I remove a tampon there is some red blood and some brown blood. My period is usually very regular (28 days) and I am scheduled to start within the next couple of days. What could be causing this and what do I need to do? Thanks, Beth
