just reposting...seeing if i can get any more opinions =)From: kelli (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Nov 2002 12:18:59 -0600 (CST)
HELLO!! I am going to try and make this as short as possible. im basically just looking for similiar stories and sucesses. I am 24, no children. I have had 3 m/c's in one year. First one @ 5 wks. Had HUGE corpeus letual (spelling???) cyst and had the cyst removed and then i m/c'd. Second one also @ 5 wks. NOt sure what went wrong.. maybe lack of progesterone. 3rd one eptopic also at 5 wks. (right tube removed) Doc says other tube is very healthy. Dr. said since he basically knows the reason for all 3 m/c's that i really don't need chromosonal analysis or tests of that sort and that is was probably just a string of bad luck. At first i decided not to try again for a few years. But i can't wait. It's killing me. my last m/c was 2 months ago and i just got a period finally yesterday. (I have endo too.) I have 2 questions. 1-is there a benefit to me to go on b/c for a few months and then try again or do i have the same odds if i just went ahead and tried again? 2-Is my Dr. correct in dismissing the tests because he KNOWS the reasons for the m/c's? I can get pregnant easily, just not keep them. I WOULD LIKE ANY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES OR ADVICE. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE, PLEASE GIVE, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. thank you all so much. :) Kelli
