Tuesday- came down with what I think is a yeast infection, pain, red swelling, but not any "cottage cheese" discharge; bought 1-dose over-the-counter treatment & used it Tues. night Wednesday- called my OB, I can't see him for 3 weeks but he prescribed Nystatin cream Thursday & Friday- have used the Nystatin and feel pretty good during the day; however, when I get in bed the pain returns! Why would this happen? Just started back on the Pill (Ortho-Novum 7/7/7) after being off for over a year to have a baby. I take the Pill before bed... could this be causing the problem?
