hysterectomy: lower back pain?

I have been told I need a hysterectomy.Which I am scheduled to do so in 3 weeks. I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my lower back. Right above my buttocks. It feels like it is burning. I feel it more so when I am lying down. My OBGY told me my uterus is tilted and it is pulling away. I will also be having rectum and bladder surgery. I haven't had any problems with my periods. The pain I am having scares me to death. I am so afraid it could be something else. Have any of you that need or have had a hysterectomy experienced such pain? I have been told it could be my uterus pulling on my leggiments.

I would appreciate your help!!! Thanks, Diana
