Tri-Cyclen QuestionFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Sep 2002 16:28:38 -0500 (CDT)
I have posted this question a couple times over the last few days and i have not been able to get any responce to it, nor can i find any similar questions in the forum to help me. So here i go again...I was just prescribed Ortho Tri Cyclen by my doctor yesterday. I was told not to begin it until the first sunday after my next period. I have been doing some research on this kind of pill and they say for it to be 100% effective within the first month you must begin your pills on the first day of your next period, even if it's not a sunday! Now i am confused, what is the truth? Can i start my pills on the first day of my next period, if so, what is the difference in taking them on that day apposed to the following sunday? Thanks Can anyone help me? Amy
