I gave birth to my child in august.and planned to have my tubes tyed. I was told i had to wait 6 weeks for the procedure to be done because the hospital is so busy. Now it is time to the procedure to be done. I am afraid that i will not be able to get an appoinment before my medicaid expires. I made my 6 week appoinment and was told that on that day a appoinment will be made with an anesthesyoligst. My question and concern is that i need to know about how long it ususally takes to get an appoinment , and also after the anesthesyologist speaks to me and finds out my history and every thing. How long does it take for them to schedule the procedure. Will they schedule for the same day, or a later date?. I have only a certain amount of time to do this. How long does the procedure take?
