Should a Genital Wart Always Be Treated? During this year I have been pregnant, given birth, then at my 6 week check-up had my first bad Pap smear with moderate dysplasia, had a LEEP, and so far have had a Normal Pap after the LEEP. I also was then diagnosed with HPV of the High Risk type (I suspect I have had it for years -- maybe 10 years--- with no symptoms til now at the age of 31) So my question is, does this possible wart on the vulva have any bearing on my HPV, future cervical dysplsia situation? Is a single wart always advisable to treat if it doesn't go away on its own? How long do you wait? Is it more for cosmetic or medical reasons ? I am going back to the doctor in 4 months for another Pap and I didn't know if I should go back earlier about this possible wart, or if it is not an urgent matter. Any advice would be appreciated.
