Reply: samir: "Re: Can hormone fluxuations effect your scalp?" I just turned 36 and I've been battling a scalp condition for the past year and nothing seems to work. My dermatologist has given me several different prescription shampoos, foam, jels etc. to no avail. They seem to help for a while then I'm back to the itching and flaking to the point of making scabs on my head. Given the fact that my periods have started fluxuating and I have had perimenopausal symptoms for the same amount of time, I'm wondering if my wacky hormone levels could have anything to do with it?
