First, it is rare, but some women have become pregnant after having their tubes tied. Take a pregnancy test to make sure. Second, if you did gain 30 pounds in a month and a half, I would be concerned that it is fluids vs fat. Perhaps you need to have your kidney function tested. I hope this helps, Best wishes, D.N.
