Dr. Von AlmenFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 29 Sep 2002 23:12:11 -0500 (CDT)
Last October, during a routine pap, my midwife noticed 2 very small moles right at the opening of the vagina. She recommended they be biopsied since nobody, including myself had ever noticed them before. I haven't had them biopsied because quite honestly, I forgot about them. But the past couple of weeks, I have had tremendous itching in that area. Last night, I looked with a mirror at the moles and they have both at least tripled in size. Does this sound like something ominous? How pressing is this to have them biopsied? Do I need to call first thing tomorrow a.m. or can it wait until my next pap in October? Thanks for your reply!
