It took about 6 months for me to start having a period at all...when I finally did, it has been a mess! I started out having periods that were very irregular (sometimes late, sometimes early). Then they began to be fairly normal. Now, I started to have 2 periods per month...every two weeks. The first of the month is usually "normal" and second of the month is VERY heavy and usually has lots of clots. Any suggestions? I have talked with my ob/gyn, she doesn't seem to be concerned at all. She says that it will finally get back to normal. She also doesn't seem concerned that the second period is so heavy and lasts so long.
