Hello.....I am 45. 6 months ago I went to the gyn w/symptoms of ab discomfort, wight gain, and no periods for the past 5 months. Had a MRI and U/sound, that showed a large fibroid and a "complex. septated tumor" on my left ovary. Had a only slightly elevated ca125.hormones totally normal (no menopause lurking).Scheduled for hysterectomy.Flipped out...Went to another doc for 2nd opinion...re-did the U/sound (same radiologis, who told me the first time, that if I was his wife or sister that I would have immediate surgery)...THE TUMOR WAS GONE!!!!!!!! Yay!...Periods started again. Here I am 6 months later, haven't had a period in the last 3 1/2 months..my stomach is enormous! I am very tired, and still have the ab discomfort, waves of nausea this time too.....Am I losing my mind? Is this menopause?????? What to do? Thank you , very much.
