Weight gain after hystorectomy

I had a hystorectomy in 1995, and never had problems with weight gain. However, I put on 5lbs immediately after the hystorectomy and 5lbs each year after that. Can hormones be causing the weight gain? I take a hormone pill called Menest each day. I hate this obesity, and have tried to loose and especially not gain. I can walk 7 miles in a day and not grow tired, and sweat like a water fountain, but still no luck in loosing and stop gaining since the hystorectomy. Please Lord Jesus help me to find assistance in this matter. Amen. Charlotte
