I have been posting to this page for about a month now. I'm married, 22, no children yet. My symptoms have been checked by my ob/gyn they include: 1. abdomenal cramping and pinching/stretching (lower) 2. nausea before meals 3. late and abnormally short period (4 days late, 1 day long) 4. finally...this morning I had blood and mucus in my stool (not entirely, but not sparatic either - I would say about 3 tsps. of blood and one full tsp. of mucus) My ob/gyn did an ultrasound, pap, hormone level bloodwork and anemia/ thyroid/ diabetes bloodwork as well - all were NORMAL. I left thinking I was fine. The symptoms persisted though... So, I went to an Internist this morning after seeing the blood and mucus. He says it could possibly be colitis. He is sending me to a GI doctor - who cannot see me for another week. I was wondering if ANY of you have experienced these symptoms and/or what became of them. I'm very nervous and not looking forward to this week without knowing any answers. P.S. The internist also took a PG. test just to be sure... Thanks, n.j.
