There are several vaginal infections, including yeast infections for a start, that do not require sexual transmission. I might suggest that you need a yeast culture to confirm that you actually have a yeast infection. If it is confirmed, then I favor treatment of recalcitrant cases with topical application of Genetian Violet. It works great.
