Lapidus M.D.: "Re: 2 months on birth control" I am 25 years old and I started taking ovcon 35 a month and a half ago. My doctor put me on this to regulate my cycles. During my first pack, I had spotting off and on. While taking the inactive pills on the fourth week, I had a very heavy flow with rather large clots. My periods were not that heavy before starting the pills and I had never experienced blood clots that big before. Now I am on my third week of my second pack and I have started spotting again.
