Previous message: Rema: "[Birth Control] Period Pain while on Pill" Initially the doctors suggested the pill. I am intolerant of that. Then they did an MRI and an ultrasound. I have a dermoid cyst that is small and a functional cyst on my other ovary. Now they suggest a D&C, hysteroscope and possible biopsy. They think it could be from a fibroid, or polyp. How likely is this? They said my ovaries are enlarged but there is not a problem. What causes that? If a fibroid or polyp is causing all the spotting then how would they treat that versus a hormonal problem causing all the spotting? I also had an IUD perforate (and surgery to remove it ) and they said this could be the cause of the spotting as well...is that true? Next message: TS: "yeast infection & Mircette??"
