I am not a doctor however what i do know is that you have a CHRONIC condition and that you need to look at alternitive things to help with the pain and discomfort. look at different organisations dealing with endo around the world america has a conservative gyn policy europe a little more progressive so try endo society in england will post urls tommorrow, also consider diet exercise and relieving stress.

re the birth control pills the reason they did that is that 100 years ago women only had 30 periods in their lives now they have upto 450 periods and the body can not cope we were designed to reproduce and endo is very low incidents in countries where contraception is not freely availble they get problems from having too many babies!!!!!eg prolapse perhaps the hormone coil may be better for you
