Currently not pregnant. Bleeding basically all month for about 4 months, had severe right sided pain (turned out to be an ovarian cyst). Pain has resolved. Also had extremely painful intercourse (felt like my bladder/lower abd was on fire). Was switched to Yasmin two months ago and also was suggested that pain during intercourse was related to latex condoms. First month on Yasmin was fine. This is the second month. Period due on 7/21 but started cramping on 7/10, started spotting on 7/11 and been alternating between spotting, small gushes of blood, and watery discharge since then. The bleeding, especially ruining underwear and outfits, is getting frustrating and aggravating. Has it just not been enough time on Yasmin? Some of my friends are on Mircette and said they don't have any problems at all. I am waiting for call back from Nurse Practitioner but want to get several opinions. (also had sex again without a condom and pain was still intense). Any suggestions? I don't know if any of this is related (the bleeding between periods, painful intercourse, etc.) Sorry this is so long.
