I have a problemFrom: April (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 30 Jun 2002 20:58:24 -0500 (CDT)
The last three times I have had sexual intercourse I have bled. It first happened the end of May, after sex I went to the bathroom and found myself bleeding, and I just figured that my period had started a few days early. Later on that day, I wasn't bleeding. The next week I started my period and had a normal flow, just like every month. So the middle of June, I have sexual intercourse and again I am bleeding afterwards. This time it alarmed me, but I did not do anything about it. It was the same thing as before, I bled during the sex and then I was fine and didn't bleed once the sex was over. So this past weekend, I engaged in sexual intercourse once again and yes again I bled. I plan to see a doctor this week, I have the number out and am going to call, but I just wanted to see if I could get any kind of advice or see if anyone has any clue what this could be or mean. My period is still regular, on time, I always have had a steady period (thank god). The only things that have changed that I can think of to cause this is the fact that I have lost 45 lbs since February. I don't know in what way this weight loss has had an effect on my system, but I think this could be the reason. Can someone please give me some insight into what this may be or be a cause of? Thank!
