Morning problemsFrom: Annonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 30 Jun 2002 20:38:54 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on Triphasil birth control pills for about 5 years. At one point in 98 I was put on OrthoTricyclen but switched back to Triphasil in 99 June 99. In Sept. 99 I began having problems when I would wake up and be sweating and then freezing, really nauseated, and feeling like I was going to pass out. It would pass after a little while and then it would be like nothing had happened. It occurs about every few months, sometimes once a month. I had told a doctor about it when I was in for a strep test that year and he told me it was nothing. I brought it up with my gyno at my appt. last week b/c it was happening still and she did a thyroid test and said if it came back negative she was going to refer me to someone. Do you have any idea what kind of doctor she would probably be refering me too if they are trying to find out what it is. Also, at one point I did have an ED a few years back but during treatment they took blood and said that it didn't look like I had messed up my body or anything, but could that be related?
