Hello; I have a friend who for the past few months has been bleeding immediately after having sex. This bleeding then seems to be a full-fledged period, but sometimes over two weeks early. Also there has been a terrible pain in the area of her right ovary/tube, where she has had pains before and once showed a very small cyst that went away. Dr wants to do a hysteroscope as U/S failed to show anything wrong with ovaries, tubes or uterus.She is scheduled for another colposcopy (abnormal pap one year ago, no virus found in colp. or pap) because of recent abnormal pap. She also has a history of herpes, and has been having a lot of vaginal infections(yeast, strep and e-coli) since last year, although she had not been having sexual relations.
