transdermal Progesterone

Hi,

I know that transdermal progesterone cream is not considered to be a reliable route of delivery.

I wonder, if they are able to make an estrogen patch for HRT, what about a progesterone patch? Do you know if anything like that is in development?

Why is it that estrogen can be delivered thru the skin reliably, but progesterone cannot?

Thanks for your time.
