The nothing to smoke could have something to do with your oxygen level too so it is best to listen to the docs on this one. I know through my work with the red cross that if a person donates blood and jumps up and smokes a ciggeratt that they will pass out because of the loss of blood and ect.. Good luck with your surgery.
