I'm having surgery for a fistula and my pre-op paper said I can't have any food or water after midnight also i couldn't smoke.. What will happen if I smoke? I really don't see myself going to long without one...Sick huh.. And I can't even have a sip of water why is that? After I wake up what are some side affects from being put out? thanks
