ovarian and pelvic pain

Will try to make this short as possible but am really searching for an answer to the pain. Had a tubal around 5 years ago at the age of 31. 3 years ago began to have pain on my right side(tolerable but severe) noticed that within an hour of this pain I would began my period. Also noticed that I would have night sweats within days of my period and hot flashes, decided that it was all in my head until I began to notice that my periods were irregular. I would go heavy one month and then wait two months before I would start again but maybe this time only for one day. The doctor tested my thyroid as well as my hormones because I was beginning to feel that I was premenapausal. I would go from hot flashes to cold clamly feeling. The pain has been consistent on my right side in my ovary area since the beginning but is getting worse. Have been in pain for two weeks this time and it won't go away. Over the last two years have had an ultrasound(vaginal)and a histogram showing nothing but that my right ovary was very hard to find and photograph. After the last ultrasound yesterday and a pregnancy test(thought that was what the tubal was for) was told no that nothing was wrong with my ovary. My doctor says is stress related due to the nightsweats and hot flashes--I don't care just want the pain in my back and side to go away any suggestions?
