Hi Linda,

I had the Leep procedure 10 days ago and found it to be less 'painful' than the biopsy. Your cervix is numbed, so you shouldn't feel anything during the leep process. The numbing does burn, I wont kid you about that, but it is quite effective. There wasn't any cramping whatsover with this procedure, and only mildy so afterwards.
