YES! I DO experience the restless leg syndrome. It usually begins when I lie down on the sofa in the evening to read or watch t.v. (I'm 43 years of age) I am also perimenopausal, not taking any other medicines other than Prometrium and Loestrin. This is a new phenomenon for me that occurs on a regular basis so I have attributed it to perimenopause. There was one other time that I experienced this before perimenopause, but it only came about each time that I took Seldane for sinus flareups. (That was before the FDA ordered Seldane off the market). I am in good excellent health otherwise and my bmi is 23. I have no idea if restless legs is associated with hormones, however, in my case I don't see any other reason for it. My blood pressure and heart rate are within the normal rates.
