burning tingling swollen armpits and left breastFrom: Jen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Apr 2002 10:44:42 -0500 (CDT)
I am currently having swollen, burning, tingling armpits. Also part of my left breast where it meets my armpit is painful too. About a week and a half ago I woke up with my left arm asleep. It didn't fully wake up all day. Parts of my arm, shoulder, armpit, and hand were partially numb all day long until I went to sleep at night. I spent that day rubbing my shoulder, armpit and hand because I was told it was probably a pinched nerve. I spent the next few days rubbing my armpit because it was aching. My question is: Could the lymph nodes in my armpit and side of my breast be swollen because I touched them too much and aggrevated them? It feels like it is getting less swollen every day and less burning. Can you upset your lymph nodes if you touch them too much? Any advice would be appreciated. THANK YOU.
