Hi Deborah,

I have not read her book. I did see her on a PBS presentation. Personally, I was bothered by the fact that she seems to say that conditions like fibroids or endo are caused by stress. That if women learned to deal with stress it would lessen these problems.

Granted, stress causes increased levels of cortisol and this can cause elevations in estrogen. However, I really felt that she blamed women who have these conditions for their own problem. There is more to the formation of fibroids and endometriosis than just stress. To blame the patient is outrageous. I would not buy her book. If you are interested in reading her book, check it out at the library. This is just my opinion.

Best wishes, D.N.
