Question about hormone replacement

Hello:

I had posted prior about having a hysterectomy for excessive bleeding that wasn't controlled by any other method..through all the tests I had done prior to the hysterectomy all they could find was that I wasn't producing progesterone in the second half of my cycle.

Since I kept both ovaries, is there anything I need to do about the fact that I still won't be producing progesterone? Does your body automatically at some point start producing it again? Is there a concern with the estrogen if you don't have the progesterone to balance it?

Thanks for any input on this..this is just something I wanted clarification on, I will ask my dr about it too.

Thanks
