A couple of years ago I started taking it again for various reasons and my periods have gotten to be strange Lighter and lighter every month until they are no existant (literally!) My GYN said it was the jgoal of the pill to eventually stop the periods all together but I had never heard of it and it didn't happen when I took it for 15 years. I am 39 and have been back on the pill for 3 years now. Is she telling me the truth? She isn't concerned that I didn't get a period last month and hasn't even suggested a pregnancy test. Should I be concerned about it or let it roll?
