Hi...well so far no one has answered my post from 2/26, but I thought I'd try again. The labs (liver, gallbladder, pancreas) came back normal. I just made an appointment with my gynecologist, as much as I don't want ANOTHER pelvic exam this week, I guess it is unavoidable. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before (see previous post for details). I'm still having nausea and intermittent dull pain in my right side. Still wondering if GI is a better route to go, but I am trying GYN first because my doctor's office is pushing that line of inquiry. I feel really frustrated, and I wonder if I'm not just getting turfed to GYN simply because GPs have a hysteria prejudice when it comes to dealing with women with abd. pain (I kind of get the feeling that for them, "endo" is the euphamism for "hysteria"). The GYN I saw first about this (last week, at my school infirmary) felt pretty confident this was not gynecological. Where does this cycle of frustration end? With me just not going to see anyone and hoping the symptoms resolve on their own? And they wonder why women stop going for regular exams and get noncompliant about health care. It's this kind of crap that does it. I'm only 30. Much more of this and I won't ever want to go to another doctor again. -really really frustrated
