I presume that when you drink this much fluid, you also pee quite a lot as well. I would suggest starting with a specialist in Internal Medicine. You may end up with a sub-specialist in Nephrology, but you have to start somewhere. There should not be a NEED to drink this much water. As your physician has stated, drinking plenty of water is good for you, but this much as a requirement is excessive... Lynn
