[Birth Control] When should I get my period when on Triphasil? From: Alyssa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 26 Feb 2002 15:23:43 -0600 (CST)
I just started Triphasil-28 this month, and I wondering how long after I have taken the last active pill I should expect my period. I am a Sunday starter and today is Tuesday, and I still don't have my period (3 days after my last active pill). I've read that you're supposed to get your period 2-3 days after the last active pill, so I'm a little worried. I used condoms this month, too, but I'm worried that something still could have happened. I was told that my pills would be effective after 7 days, but I read elsewhere that they aren't efective at all the 1st month. When should I get worried? When do most women get their periods when on Triphasil (or other BCPs)? Yesterday I was experiencing some sharp lower abdominal pain, and I read online later that this is a symptom of early pregnancy. I don't have any other symptoms, but I'm still scared.
