Spoke to GYN this a.m. 2/13/02 we agreed to try me on Lupron this Friday, the 15th. If the pains stops after 2 months of being on Lupron, she will be performing a Hysterectomy. Right ovary is already gone, so she would be just removing the uterus, leaving the left ovary then taking things from there (as far as hormones go). This is kind of scary. She told me of the side effects of Lupron (hot flashes, vaginal dryness). Anything has to be better than dealing with 2 years of this god aweful pain. This is the last thing she will try as far as GYN goes. If the Lurpon does not work, then she will be referring me to pain management to see what they can offer, if anything. I just want this to end. Anyone have any insight on Lupron? Thanks.
