Cysts and PolypsFrom: Allison (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Feb 2002 09:57:44 -0600 (CST)
I was admitted to the hospital in November for flu like symptoms which was believed to be from a turnicate ovarian cyst. My doctor chose to wait and see if they would pass on their own. I went yesterday and they have passed however I have had had continuous spotting since December along with exhaustion, abdominal bloating and cramping, gas,and frequent urination. The doctor stated there could be polyps and that we will try a new birth control pill and come back in a month. It has been three months and I feel like maybe things should be handled a bit more proactive. Should I go for a second opinion? Or am I just being overly concerned?
