[Birth Control] Diaphragm

I'm considering going off the Pill and changing to a diaphragm because I just don't like what the hormones are doing to my body. I know almost nothing about diaphragms though. How does a doctor fit one to you? How hard are they to put in? How often do you need to get a new one? Can they cause any problems (toxic shock syndrome, bleeding, yeast infections, etc)? Thanks! - Amanda
