Hi Kate:

If what you had was a uterine ablation, then the fact that you haven't bled means that the procedure was a wonderful success! At age 41 you may be perimenopausal, which is normal at this age. From the information that you posted, there is no reason to be concerned.

Kate, you are very luck that your ablation worked (thus avoiding a surgery), and hot flashes and night sweats are part and parcel of our age group. If you find them bothersome, speak to you Dr., and s/he can possibly assist you. Best wishes (you go girl)!
