Thank you, in advance, for your reply. This month, on 100 mg of Clomid, my u/s showed 1 mature follicle (21 mm), at which point I was given a hcg shot (Profasi). That was 27 days ago, and still, no period. I am convinced that I did not ovulate. When I voiced this concern to my ob/gyn, he said that he is sure I ovulated, that it is very unlikely that I wouldn't have, given the doseage of hcg (10,000). He also said that not having a period 3 or 4 weeks after the hcg shot is normal, and that I should be patient and wait for it to arrive. My questions are as follows: Is this normal? Is it possible that I ovulated 24-36 hours after the Profasi, yet still haven't started a new cycle? What could be causing the delay of menses? Could my doctor be incorrect in saying that I definitely ovulated? I have never heard of anyone having a 4 week luteal phase.
