Re: [Birth Control] Abnormal bleeding

Jill, At age 23 I began the same thing. I'm currently 25 and still dealing with it. It all started when I went off Ortho Tricylen for a few months...I think getting back on it screwed up my hormones. (when I'm not on the pill I don't get my period...so I'm the other way around). I tried OrthoNovum...no luck, and right now I just started using Yasmin - first month...no luck. I lift weights, and am very active. I noticed that this started (along with getting back on the pill), when my bodyfat started to decline due to weightlifting. I've talked to other women who said they had eating disorders that caused this, when they started eating 'normal' again they were fine. However, I don't have an eating disorder and I eat extremely healthy. If you ever find something that helps, or discover what the cause is I would love to know. As all of my paps, etc. have always come back completely normal, and doctors don't seem worried about it.

Thanks, abbie
