Hi:

I had written about my periods being heavy, prolonged and having severe cramping with them and coming every 15 days. I have been tested recently for endo and had been tested 2yrs ago, both times neg..I am scheduled for a lap supracervical hyst in Feb..my endo tests have been neg, I had a hysterscope, and dnc at the same time, in Sept. The path report showed nothing in the way of endo..just hormonal imbalance. I have take hormonal agents in the past 4 yrs to try to control this problem..I also had an ablation in Nov to try to control this, but it failed as I still have the same problems, hence the hyst. Is laproscopy the only way to "see" endo deep inside the uterus and what does it do, and is it worth it at this point to try it, before doing the hyst? I also had my tubes tied (cauterized mini-lap) 5 yrs ago..my problems started a year after that. If I go ahead with the LSH would the dr be able to see if I have endo at that time? I do know that an MRI does show some adeno, but I am claustrophic and couldn't get in that tube, lol..dr said that was ok since he was going to do the hysterecope, the MRI was to r/o adeno, I assumed that the hysterscope would show adeno, on the report it does state there were no "adenexal masses", does that mean no adeno? Thanks for any information you can give me.
