Re: Spotting? My reply after visiting gynoFrom: AJ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 17 Jan 2002 22:58:55 -0600 (CST)
Thurs, 17 Jan 2002: Thank you for responding. I had a visit with my gyno and explained all of the symptoms I have been experiencing. Even though I was bleeding, she was able to do a full vaginal exam and found no problems. She did not have an answer for me as to why I am having what appears to be a period over a week earlier than anticipated, given that I have been taking the Mircette faithfully at the same time every day and not missing pills. There is also no explanation for the discharge and itching, either. A urine-based pregnancy test came up negative. We are not sure if perhaps my body is just reacting to the Mircette. In the meantime, I am uncomfortably cramping and bleeding while I wait for my "real" period to come next week. Do you have any suggestions, or has anyone else experienced something similar? Thank you again! -AJ
