Hi, I just wanted to share that I also had a period and was PG - I am now 8 weeks. We had only had unprotected sex ONCE so I was pretty darn surprised! I guess I must have had a feeling as I was on antibiotics and tested four times even after I had the 'period' (which was actually spotting or perhaps implantation bleeding)...and finally the fourth test came out positive. Methinks you are pregnant, congratulations! Being as I was taking cold meds and antibiotics I was also concerned, but my doc. reassured me that the chance of any damage was minimal. I don't think I'd worry too much about that or the alcohol - now that you know have a positive test you can be more conscious of what you do. : ) Take care!
