Many people have relief of PMS after the "breaking in" period on on the pill (i.e. after the first three months). You will get your period, most likely, sometime during the green pills -- could be the first day, could be the last day. If you started the pills on the Sunday after the first day of your period, or if you started them on the first day of your period, you're now protected against pregnancy. If you started them some other time, you should use a backup method until you start the second pack. Don't forget to use condoms as well, to reduce the risk of infection.
