Pill and painFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: Claudia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 3 Dec 2001 12:48:29 -0600 (CST)
I have posted a similar question before and I was told to try to speak with my gynecologist. Unfortunately, I am between two doctors now, and my previous doctor refuses to help any further if I don't do a lap. I have a lot of pelvic pain, especially after taking the pill (Loestrin 1.5/30). I having been on this same pill for 3 years, and have had some endo symptons for a while (but didn't know about it). I am waiting to go to an endo specialist on the 21st. I feel much better whenever I am on the non-active pills, or even one day that I forgot to take the pill. I was wondering if I could interrupt taking the pill until I see that other doctor. I tried posing this question to the new doctor and my current doctor, but nobody gives me an answer. I am not worried about the contraception effect of the pill (intercourse is very painful, and a baby would be welcome by me and my husband). Thank you for the help. i really cannot find anyone to help me, and I am afraid of just stopping the pill in the middle. Should I wait to the end of the pack (by Sunday)? Thanks again Claudia
