12 years ago i had HPV. warts were frozen. two years after the first diagnosis i had an abnormal pap, went in six mos. later and it was normal. have had normal paps, no warts ever since. if i still have the HPV virus, where is it and how easily is it transmitted when i have had no signs for years? just had a normal pap last week. could this ever come back on a pap or warts? is this a sign of a healthy immune response, or is the virus gone? what else, other than cancer and HPV does a pap disclose? thnks
