Very painful, etc. Another lancing and sitz, antibiotics and pain meds. Normal health history, 1 daughter (c-section) never heard of such a thing until last years cyst, no std's ever, annual check ups, etc. Going to OB/GYN Thurs for consult about marsupialization, very scared/nervous. Want local anesthesia not general, epidural is fine too, and maybe something to make me not such a chicken...:) possible or not on the local anesthesia??? 1. What is the purpose of this gland? and why not just have it taken out instead of Marsupialized? 2. What can I be doing to not get this? Anything in particular I should be asking the Dr.?
