[Birth Control] Switched from ortho tri-cyclen to AvianeFrom: Lynn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Oct 2001 17:23:24 -0600 (CST)
well i posted before that i had lots of pain when i was on orth tri-cyclen my pelvic area was painful. i went to my doctor to check up on this and take tests again. my doctor said if it comes back i should call her and let her know. she gave me a different birth control to take which is Aviane because we thought it could be the pill, maybe it was too strong for me. I started on the Aviane pills this past sunday. That weekend was the end of my period. When i started on the pills i think it was monday i started to feel the pains in my pelvic area. Is it when i start a kind of pill that i will experience these pains and other side effects? so i shouldnt worry because my body will get used to the pill and the symptoms will go away? or could it be me, that i might have some kind of infection? Also if i do just need time for my body to get used to the pills should i stay with the ortho tri-cyclen pills or the aviane?
