THanks I had post partum bleeding at 6 weeks they told me it was normal I believed them but it turned out I seriously hemmoraged after 4 months it got really bad. It turned out 1/3 of the placenta had been left in!!! Of course the doc who delivered had never sent it to pathology to see if it was all intact. I retained placenta with both of my babies born 4 years apart. There is one for sure test for this: a pregnancy test it will show your body is still feeding the placenta pregnancy hormones.
